A sculptural lamp inspired by the national flower of Singapore, the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid. The petal elements are inspired by the lowest hanging petal of the orchid, which is shaped somewhat like a curved arrowhead.

Each petal form is split into 5 planar segments, and are arranged in a systematic progression of scale from large, medium to small as we move from the bottom to top level.

The petals also curve outward, creating an impression of a blooming flower.

Each of the 3 tiers of petals can rotate on a central axis, creating versatility in arrangement.
