A two-way use pencil tray made using the technique of wood-bending.

The alternating strips of veneer create a pattern utilizing the contrasting effects of light and dark colour, giving a sense of dynamism. The asymmetrical and forward tilted nature of this design also suggests a sense of movement.

The rounded edges are connected to the surface at only two points, with the rest of the structure suspended in the air. This creates a sense of lightness and airiness, as well as a cantilevered design. They also enable the piece to rock from side to side like a rocking chair, allowing one to interact with it.

The piece can be flipped to the concave side to hold more items of stationery.
